Gridfinity Fractional Drill Index

Gridfinity Fractional Drill Index

Used the well tested Zack Freedman Gridfinity base to create a drill index to get my standard drill bits out of the 20yr old metal index that didnt want to stay together. The blank template that I used was actually a remix of a remix that had the updated magnet pockets to allow better printing without supports. Now that there are so many GF remixes, I cant even find the one that I used to build this, Sorry man but if I find your version again, I will update the cudos here. This is a 3x4 size footprint. This index is a 1/16 thru 1/2 inch in 64ths and has 2 & 3 extra holes for each size to keep backup and spare bits in storage for easy use. Smaller sizes had room for 2 extras and the larger sizes had to drop down to only 1 extra. Need to draw up a metric, letter, & number index to get them out of boxes and into the gridfinity/wall control platform. The F360 base file that I was using didnt populate all the magnet holes beyond the 1x3 base that I started with but this thing is heavy enough to not need the magnets installed. It stays stable on the GF/Wall control shelf that it sits on. I hope someone finds it useful. Enjoy.
