The Creation The model and its accessories have been created using 3D Studio Max 2016 software. The topology is comprised of quads and triangles. Images were generated with the default scanline engine in 3D Studio Max 2016. MATERIAL AND TEXTURES Texture sizes are: - greyhound: 2048x2048 pixels - accessories: 2048x2048 pixels All textures are in TGA format. The character features three different textures for fur and racing bibs: - brindle - fawn - white brindle - green - red - striped RIGGING AND ANIMATIONS The model has been rigged with 3D Studio Max Biped. The package includes: - idle animation - running animation - an additional file containing all animations in a single timeline sequence through the mixer of 3D Studio Max, with intervals noted beside each name All animations are in place and were crafted without motion capture. They can be found on our YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmdTBMj81c4. FBX The FBX files for the animations have been ported using Autodesk FBX 2016. The bones of the biped are converted to dummy format during the porting process from .max to .fbx. Please note that the FBX is used to provide interoperability between digital content creation applications, but it lacks the same features as the original 3D Studio Max files.
