Grey Jedi Shoto Saber
thingiverse
As with the Grey Jedi Saber, this design is an Adafruit Lightsaber based on an Adafruit Feather M4 Express and a Prop Maker Wing. Powered by a 18650 battery and featuring a 7 neopixel light and 40mm speaker. This saber is shorter in length, more suited for use as a single-handed weapon, so I'm calling it a Shoto. For me, it serves as a versatile off-hand companion that will eventually have a shorter polycarbonate blade when I figure out how to create it. As with the others, this design allows for customization: the grip can be printed and finished with your own material or printed with the wrap texture and painted (wrap.stl). The pommel will house the 40mm speaker, while the electronics and battery are housed within the grip/wrap. The emitter will feature a 7 neopixel spot. Like my other sabers, I've included files for the electronics cradles and a covertec screw and belt clip. The majority of these parts should be interchangeable with the Grey Jedi Saber. However, note that the O Katana Emitter's length of thread is significantly shorter than this design, so plan accordingly. Update 07/02/2020: I've uploaded the Blade version of the Emitter, featuring a 25mm outer diameter blade.
