Gremlin Battery Tray

Gremlin Battery Tray

thingiverse

I created a battery tray that perfectly fits my "Josh Bixler's" Flite Test Gremlin Frame, allowing for swift battery changes and providing crucial protection around the sides. This design also secures the battery firmly to the drone, preventing a battery from disconnecting on a hard landing. As a result, users can still rely on their beeper to help locate the quad more easily. The battery tray attaches securely to the bottom of the Gremlin's plate and utilizes existing screw locations on the frame for mounting. To complete the setup, simply add a strip of Velcro under the tray and around it (or use elastic bands if preferred). I've tested this tray with a 35c 850mAh 2s Lipo battery, which fits perfectly within its confines. Similar batteries should also work seamlessly. In the accompanying picture, you'll see the V1 design in action. To cater to different printing materials, I've created three distinct designs: Version 2 is optimized for PLA, while Version 3 is specifically designed for TPU. The main difference between V1 and V2 lies in additional supports on the sidewalls, whereas V3 boasts an enhanced structure that makes it easier to print with TPU.
