Greenland relief model

This is Greenland without the present day ice sheet overlaying it with and current day ice coverage, also referred to as an Ice-free scenario by Geologists worldwide and researchers, which comes from etopo1 source see also https://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/mgg/global/relief/ETOPO1/data/ Instructions Same as all other topographic maps generated via relief model data provided by public domain resources is widely accessible. However the task of printing out a precise replica of Greenland with or without ice sheet involves utilizing DEMs (digital elevation models) along with STL (stereolithography) software for which most users seem to know where they can locate and utilize free source codes. To successfully print the topographic model of an island covered in snow such as Greenland's ice covered landmass that melts into its surroundings during various time periods of warmer climates. A very common approach is not recommended. Here are 3 approaches I have attempted: First, my attempt was based on utilizing slicer and a setting of 100% for filling all layers but the resulting printed model had some imperfections as holes remained open to this day The second approach made use of cura in combination with a fill density setting at about 25%. However it resulted into walls not being solid or strong. But hey at least my printing defects started getting revealed sooner, much sooner rather than much later (approximately) - only about five hours fifty minutes worth to say it in other words. Lastly back again was using the slic3r method by changing settings to completely fill layers every twenty printed which indeed seemed sufficient enough for tricking in my case the print generator into making an accurate replica without showing its flaws
