Water spray heads fit threaded 1/2" PVC fittings perfectly. Six direction flat spray pattern when printed correctly every time. PRINT UPSIDE DOWN to ensure perfect threads. I must give credit where credit is due for the innovative design. The screw base was taken from a water hose fitting on this site with an American thread. The extension and slotting are my own creations. Together, they make sprayers that work great in my greenhouse right now. Couldn't find spray heads at Home Depot to meet my needs. Uploaded 123dx file can be altered for various spray patterns, volume, etc. That's your business. Two STL files presented. One will produce a single head with six holes, the other four heads with six slots each. The .STL file prints four simultaneously as is. The STL file fits 1/2 PVC thread perfectly. However, scaling whatever sprinkler heads you create from the 123dx files up or down by 2% may be necessary for good filimentation. I printed in ABS at 230 degrees C for best results. How I Designed This I took the American thread hose fitting .STL, shrunk it to 75% of normal size, saved as .STL, loaded in AutoCAD 123d, created an extension with slots, moved into position, saved as 123dx file, exported, copied and pasted three times for four nozzles, and resaved .STL. If you can improve it, please do so.
