Greenhouse Clips
thingiverse
I designed these clips to secure clear plastic sheeting to a portable car shelter, thus creating a greenhouse. Living in BC, we try to extend our growing season. This DIY green house was very affordable. SideNote: The base of the structure is attached to some large felled trees to prevent the building from lifting in strong winds. The clips are 50mm long and fit 32 to 34mm diameter tubing. Can be resized to fit other diameters. The original design was a bit simpler but prone to popping off in gusty conditions. By adding eyelets and cord guides the clips are very secure. The addition of the paracord is integral when the wind picks up. I printed them in PLA, White worked well. When printed in black the sun heated them up and were quickly distorted. ABS will likely be better, more to come.
