Rupees are the main currency in The Legend of Zelda saga. They are hexagonal crystals or gems with varied colors that determine their value. Primarily obtained by defeating enemies, cutting tall grass, destroying vases or rock formations, or opening chests. Its primary application is usually associated with the acquisition of new objects, as well as for mini-games.
