I was asked if I could make a green lantern mod for the oil lamp to go along with the Batman one. https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/40310-old-fashioned-oil-lamp-holds-flame-bulb-steampunk- - oil lamp https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/40313-steampunk-bat-signal-oil-lamp-mod - batman This mod is slightly more complex that the batman version and has multiple ways of printing depending on if you are modding the original or printing it as a fixed version. If you look at the models they are fairly easy to understand but I have tried to explain below. For the green tint I used some green plastic flexible sheeting(similar to acetate type thickness). I have no idea where I got this from but there are actually colored acetate sheets on ebay so these should do fine, a single A4 sheet or similar is all you need. I glued the front on top of this and then glued the underplate on the back to add strength. An additional difference to the batman version is that it includes an extra cover for the windows allowing a green tint to be added. Parts are split into two types as with batman, permanently fixed and removable. The pictures show the removable version that can be added to . This is then broken down into 2 more types, with the center connected via thin beads to the outer body or separate. I did separate and then glued the center onto the transparent film I was using Both: Window_cover - optional, would need 2 - cover the windows so you can add a tint, if building as one then the tint can be put on the original window instead underplate.stl - optional, a plate for underneath the model to make thin material more rigid if gluing Removable handle.stl -handle for attaching to the plates - optional, would need 2 plate_2part.stl - center separate has handle mounts plate_2part_no_handles.stl - center separate plate_connectors.stl - center joined to body plate_connectors_nohandles.stl - center joined to body - no handles Fixed: full_cover_2part.stl - center separate and need to be glued onto film/window full_cover_connected.stl - center joined If you have questions please ask, thes3e instructions are probably not the best guide but models are fairly simple to understand Print instructionsCategory: Props Summary I was asked if I could make a green lantern mod for the oil lamp to go along with the Batman one. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4118365 - oil lamp https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4128518 - batman This mod is slightly more complex that the batman version and has multiple ways of printing depending on if you are modding the original or printing it as a fixed version.
