Ancient carving uncovered on Green Crag, a rugged area within Rombalds Moor, West Yorkshire. A stone lies halfway down the steep slope of Green Crag, overlooking an ancient enclosure. As documented in Boughey & Vickerman's 2003 publication 'Prehistoric Rock Art of the West Riding', IAG293 references this stone: 'Medium-sized rock with four cups.' The CSI: Rombalds Moor project later referenced this stone as "Green Crag 06" on ERA in 2013, detailing identical motifs. More information is available on ERA at https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/details.jsf?eraId=2453. This digital model was created from a stereo pair captured by Peter Butler of the CSI Team in November 2011. The imagery belongs to the HLF funded CSI: Rombalds Moor / Watershed Landscape Project archive.
