myminifactory
The relief showcases a mighty warrior standing steadfast at a burial site or tomb. He firmly grasps the base of a pillar with a downturned spear, while a serpent lies at his feet, representing the soul of the deceased. This striking image is based on a 1st century BC fragment of a marble relief from The British Museum's collection. Originally measuring 74cm in height, it was unearthed at Rhodes, Greece. This remarkable object is part of "Scan The World", a non-profit initiative pioneered by MyMiniFactory.
