Greek Parthenon

This is the Parthenon Located in Athens, Greece on the Athenian Acropolis in the architectural styles of Doric order and classical architecture. Also it was dedicated to the goddess Athena; it’s construction started in around 447 BC and finished in around 438 BC. It was made to replace another temple which was destroyed by the Persians in 480 BC. An interesting fact about this building is that a replica of it finished construction on May 21, 1931 in Nashville, Tennessee and designed by architects William Crawford Smith, and Russel E. Hart. I chose to create this because I have a keen interest in Greek architecture and I think that the Parthenon is a wonderful piece of architecture.
