These miniatures are crafted from Captain Ahab's original 1/1200 scale trireme model, expertly resized to fit the 1/2400 scale and based on 30mm square bases in groups of three or four for optimal battlefield presence. Designed specifically for fleet-level battles in ancient wargaming rules, these modified miniatures distinguish between aphract and cataphract types with clear visual cues. Since sails were rarely deployed during naval engagements, they have been left off most of the models; however, some stands feature a ship with raised sail to denote flagship status and command presence on the battlefield.
