Greedy mug
thingiverse
The mug, a sly trickster, behaves normally until filled to the 80% mark. Beyond that point, it unleashes its mischief by spilling liquid through the bottom and continues to drain until the cup is completely empty. Not yet printed. Realizing that 3D printing allows for the creation of a discreet Pythagorean cup without the telltale stem, I set out to craft one. All existing models I found online lacked a stem but had unusual shapes that would raise suspicions or posed other drawbacks. So, I designed this ordinary-looking mug with several improvements. Improvements made to existing 3D printable Pythagorean cups: 1) A smaller entry point ensures that as much of the contents is drawn out as possible. 2) An internal loop prevents the cup from triggering when tilted, even if it's half-filled. 3) Normal appearance helps it blend in with other mugs. 4) An embossed message reads: "Don't be greedy!" (A model without this message is also available.) The idea for the internal loop came from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:123252.
