Greed Teeth Halloween Cosplay from Full Metal Alchemist
thingiverse
My kid wanted to be Greed from Full Metal Alchemist, so I made him some shiny teeth for the occasion. I attached a photo that inspired my design - take a look and tell me what you think. Is it a good job for a dad who knows little about the show? Update: I added a second version with clamps that can snap onto a costume using two screws. **Print Settings** Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Geetech Prusa i3b Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 30% Rectilinear Notes: I printed the first five layers in black filament, then switched to white filament for a nice contrast between the teeth. I used three perimeters and set the top fill pattern to concentric for better results on smaller teeth. The canine teeth aren't steep, so supports weren't needed. For the screwed version, the back support can be any color since it won't be visible. **Post-Printing** I used PLA, which allowed me to heat-form the teeth to fit my kid's face. I set the build plate to 95 degrees and let it sit for a few minutes before bending it perfectly onto the face. Be careful - once it's bent, it won't sit flat again, so you'll need to boil water if you make a mistake. Update: Version two with screw clamps uses computer case fan screws, but other short screws should work as well.
