A culture grew rapidly on the beautiful shores of an island, and at a point in their history, they changed the course of their rivers to gain ground, sacrificing part of the city in the process. Back then, an old Wizard lived in the city. She was in the sundown of her life and secretly buried her spellbook under the frame of a building that would remain in the depths of the water. She calmly observed the ceremonious sinking and died peacefully after that. But with time, the overuse of natural resources brought to the loss of the freshwater mantles, and parts of the sunken city returned to the surface. It was then that some adventurers discovered a frame full of magic, without knowing that the spellbook was at its foundations.
