"To hear it again, just once more; I'd truly be the greatest Bard that ever lived." The Greater Spirit of Music, the Bard Owl; seeks those with music in their spirits. Their souls call to it like a moth to a flame, and when the Bard Owl shows its self ones creativity is elevated to new heights to the end of their days. I had a lot of fun with this guy, even though it gave me some real trouble in some aspects; namely keeping detail down and eventually having to accept that parts would be muddier and have to come down to you wonderful artists making them pop with your (and my), paints. The initial model was over TWO MILLION Vertices and was sharp enough to cut space-time, something i'm trying to curb in my sculpting. Still, getting to learn something new with each model is still the goal and an enjoyable experience. Baking a Lyre into the chest floof, a masquerade mask into the face, and initially duplicating the shape of a harp and mirroring it across the outside of the face (though that became muddier), i hoped it'd be enough. Eventually one thing lead to another and i ended up carving the music symbols and adding the treble cleft to the back as well as lace to the tail.
