I spent hours wrestling with online tools trying to turn this print into a 3D model. I had no clue that all I needed to do was drag and drop the JPG file into Cura and let it do the magic. What a revelation! Now, if I want to get fancy, I can always take it into Blender for some additional tweaking. But for now, this will suffice. I used Shapeways' 2D to 3D converter and ended up with an X3DB file that's practically impossible to work with - good luck trying to convert that proprietary format!
