The spool holder now supports BotFeeder and other 80mm wide spools, but still requires a majority of a 200x200mm bed for printing. It is compatible with common 1kg spools, as well as pictured 1.5kg spools and EckerTech 2kg spools. A filament guide, such as thing:16267 V4 or thing:62387, is still recommended for use. The SCAD file creates various versions, including a new 15x15 extrusion mount with a spacer setting of 3. Other spacer settings include 2 for the Prusa clip-on hook and 1 for the EcksBot integrated hook (replaces spacers). Lastly, set the spacer to 0 for the EcksBot clip-on hook that attaches to the spacers. Pre-printed versions are available at gkprotoforms.ca. To use the holder, select .stl files for your printer or generate them from the .scad file. Slice and print, using hex fill for strength.
