Greaseweazle v4 Case
thingiverse
This is a simple case for the Greaseweazle Floppy Flux reader. It has 2 lids, one without a hole that you can print in Clear filament translucent so you can see the LEDs through it and one with an LED viewing hole. The lids are friction fit, but I'd recommend gluing them in with a bit of contact adhesive for long term use. The case is a deliberate tight fit for the GW and the way I’ve designed it, it has 3 clips that hold the PCB in place. One each on the two short sides and then one on the side nearest the USB connector. Your printer will need to be well calibrated to print this! The way I fit it is to put the board in at an angle underneath that rear clip and then firmly push the sides past the side clips. You need to give it a bit of elbow grease, but I’ve done this a few times now and not damaged the board (fibreglass is tough stuff!) Update: There is now a Mark 2 case which has a larger cutout for a standard Floppy Drive Molex connector.
