Grease Pencil Holder
thingiverse
When I use a grease pencil or regular pencil, I prefer to wear it down to the nub. To make using a grease pencil easier when it gets extremely short, I created this device. It features openings at both ends, allowing me to hold a short pencil in one end and then shift it to the other end when it becomes too short for that. This way, I can still use it. The product measures 200mm in length and has a diameter of 11.5mm, with a hole diameter of 9.5mm. Grease pencils slide into place smoothly. I designed this item to be printed horizontally because I believe it produces a nicer surface finish and is stronger as well. Since the design is cylindrical, printing it this way resulted in a ridge on the bottom. However, by employing an idea from [u/barspin](https://www.thingiverse.com/barspin/about), found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:135716 , I was able to nearly eliminate the ridge. I have included files for both versions of the holder, with and without support.
