Simple and easy-to-print dust caps for 6mm diameter grease nipples used on many cars, motorcycles, and machines can be found in this DIY project. While greasing the wheel bearings of my car, I noticed that one of the rubber dust caps on the grease nipples was lost, prompting me to find a replacement. However, after browsing Thingiverse, I couldn't find a single design for those dust caps, leaving me with no choice but to create my own. I designed them in Autodesk 123D. The dust caps are designed to be printed with flexible filament such as TPU. They will print in only four minutes without the need for any support structure, thanks to a 'fillet' on the inside that allows for easy printing of the overhang of the roof when printed with the hole on the bottom side.
