When greasing car parts like brakes it's important not to get grease in the wrong place, so it can help to use a brush to apply it.  You may also need to use different types of grease in different areas (rubber seals, threads, pivots) so you can use different brushes which you don't want to get mixed up.This little clip keeps each brush with the right grease so you can reuse it later.  The cheap brushes I use are sold in multiples as “acid brushes” or “solder flux brushes”, having a handle diameter of about 7mm.The clip is designed with a varying curve which helps it to fit varying diameters of can (80mm - 90mm tested).
