GRBL Tube - Raspberry Pi & Arduino Sleeve
thingiverse
I've been building an open source DLP resin printer that will utilize a Raspberry Pi and an Arduino with a GRBL shield attached. I was really drawn to Walter's Raspi Sleeve Case, but wanted one that would also accommodate my Arduino and Shield, so I created this! I used Walter's original design as the basis for getting the dimensions for my own drawing, and made a few adjustments to make things fit a bit better. This case will securely hold a Raspberry Pi 2 or 3, and is designed with a SparkFun RedBoard (Arduino Uno) in mind. In my project and the included images, I'm using a LittleRP stepper motor board on the Arduino with a Silent Step Stick. In the next revision, I plan to make the Pi's GPIO pins and camera port more accessible, and need to add mounting tabs for aluminum extrusions. An updated version with mounting tabs for C-Beam has been added. Drawn in DesignSpark Mechanical, RSDOC source is included. I'll link to the resin printer once it's published. Happy printing!!
