By the power of imagination, a kid-sized cosplay sword comes to life! Crafted with care for a dear friend, this miniature masterpiece was inspired by a tiny toy piece, just two inches long. To bring it to perfection, print two halves each, then assemble and glue them together for an authentic look. Note: Although designed for kids, this sword is not necessarily safe for young hands, despite the blunted tip. While it's been made safer, it can still be hazardous if mishandled. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer Model: MakerBot Replicator Z18 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 10% Post-Printing Assembly: First, print two halves of each part. Next, glue the sword blade together using a strong solvent or epoxy adhesive. Then, wrap rubber bands around the hilt ends to secure them in place. To attach the handle parts, glue them together before connecting them to the hilt/sword piece. Don't rush it – I learned that the hard way when my first sword's handle split apart due to premature gluing. If the printed parts warp slightly, use a hair dryer or heat gun to soften the plastic and remove any warping. With patience and care, this cosplay sword will be ready for its debut!
