Grayl Ultrapress screw cap fixation
prusaprinters

This is an easy print for adding an eyelet hole to the Grayl Ultrapress. I love my Ultrapress but other than the Geopress, the screw cap has no fixation to the bottle. I use it often when standing in the rivers while Flyfishing and I´m always aware of losing the screw cap forever in the waters.

The original screw cap is glued into the printed adapter cap. Before you glue it, place the eyelet into the adapter and make sure it moves/rotates freely. When glueing, make sure that you don´t put glue onto the eyelet bottom. Otherwise it won´t be able to rotate because it´s glued together with the original screw cap top.

I printed it in PLA with 0.2mm layerheight. Of course it works with PETG and other materials as well. I used a base support as well to print the outide chamfer properly.

You may be interested in mhparsons Grayl Ultrapress Holder

https://www.printables.com/model/210773-grayl-water-purifier-holder
