Gravity Rewinder Drybox
thingiverse
This Experimental gravity powered spool rewinder fits snugly inside a Rubbermaid 21 cup drybox container, making it the perfect compact solution for any workshop or makerspace. Current testing indicates a remarkable success rate of 19 out of 20 MMU2(s) tool changes. For those interested in exploring this innovative design further, I have made all original files available below. Any future updates, revised files, and detailed instructions can now be found on the Prusa Printers website at https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/25858-gravity-rewinder-drybox. After careful consideration, I have decided to discontinue this project in favor of a newer design. The Experimental gravity powered spool rewinder had a tendency to fail about 1 time out of every 20 MMU2(s) tool changes. If you're looking for a reliable solution, consider checking out my latest creation: the filament management system, available on Prusa Printers at https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/30862-filament-management-system
