Gravity Hanger

A versatile hanger that securely grasps onto small ledges, such as those found over doors. The more you pull on it, the tighter its grip becomes (up until the plastic reaches its limit). This device is perfect for drying items or hanging cat toys where a hook does not exist. To assemble the hanger, print the following components: 2x GravHang_MainArm 2x GravHangCrossbar 3x SnapPlug_Female 1x SnapPlug_Female_Tall 4x SnapPlug_Male 1x GravHang_Ring I have included .thing files for printing with a Makerbot, allowing you to print one of each file and have all the necessary parts. To learn how to assemble the hanger, watch this video: https://vimeo.com/192443965/6ef940663e After removing all support material from the SnapPlugs, push them together with the other components in between. They will click into place and remain securely snapped together permanently. The construction of the hanger is sturdy, but it's not designed for pull-ups. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Infill: 40% Notes: The SnapPlugs require a 0.1mm resolution. The rest can be printed at 0.2mm. I printed it in PLA with 40% infill to ensure its sturdiness.
