This is my interpretation of the Tekoa Feather Cut hot wire foam cutter. For cutting straight and tapered foam wing cores for RC airplanes/gliders, etc. Weight is added to the end of the Pivot Bar opposite it's pivot to control the speed of the cut. Varying the weight varies the speed of the cut.
