Designed this for my son as a universal decoder for Gravity Falls. I've been trying to teach him how to use the different cipher systems, but felt didn't like flipping through different decoders to do so. Instead, I've combined them into one handy tool that could encode/decode the different Gravity Falls symbol ciphers, as well as Caesar, Atbash, A1Z26, and Vigenere.
Parts:
End Caps (Print 2)
3mm Spacer (Print 5)
Center Post
ABC Ring
Number Ring
ZYX Ring
Symbol Cipher Ring
Line Viewer
The Symbol Cipher Ring is static & contains Bill's, Authors, Combination, as well as an additional ABC ring. These are all printed together since they should remain consistent. The ABC ring on this can be used with the separate ABC to accommodate Caesar & Vigenere codes.
I added the Line Viewer to make the Vigenere a bit clearer. Line one of your ABC rings with "A" in the viewer - Without moving it, locate the 1st letter of your codeword on that same ring. Now use your alternate ABC ring to line up the corresponding encrypted letter with your Codeword letter. At this point, the line viewer should show the A in line with your decoded letter.
Enjoy!
