Gravity Broom Holder - Remix

The first design which turned out to be a broom holder and not a broom dropper! Unfortunately the "gear" came off at the top but in the first print a small piece of scrap glued on with superglue fixed the problem This add-on is already integrated in the attached files.

As my garden tools all have larger diameter I increased the size by around 7mm. That also increases the distance between the mounting screws to 32mm.

Printed in lowest cost PLA, 9€/kg including shipping. Print parameters 0.3mm layers, 15% cubic infill with dual lines, no support, skirt.

A rubber band around the groove in the "gear" seems to be mandatory.

As I had issues with my printer printing the lip as it should be (worked better in PETG, better material) I also made a split version. There you insert the gear, push the second part on and if it doesn't want to hold a drop of superglue in the two alignment holes does the job. However, if your print results are better don't use -split-1 and -2.

The picture with 4 units is left left to right original, new w/ frame in PETG, new with glued on lip, new in split version.

My remix can handle ~27-35mm, quite common for garden tools
