Desktop bottle opener ideal for after work drinks, at a bbq in the park or on a boat. Audible 'pop' sound + cap goes flying. Work in progress! https://youtu.be/LR-hMmFMmuY NOTE: The device is tailored to what I consider to be "standard" brown beer bottles found in Europe, with a height of 209mm and base diameter of 60mm. This bottle is supported by many mainstream brands. You will have to identify brands in your country that also use these bottle dimensions. NOTE 2: This design still requires a number of tweaks to ensure reliable operation. Feedback from anyone who prints this design and experiments with it are welcomed. PART LIST Name: TOP Purpose: Entry point for the bottle. Print orientation: Flat side to build plate. Name: TUBE (x8) Purpose: Create screw points inside the hollow tubes in order to fasten key parts. Print orientation: Flat side to build plate. Name: BIPOD Purpose: Provides midway, structural stability. Connects to leg supports and HANDLE. Print orientation: Flat side to build plate. Name: HANDLE Purpose: Easy transportation whilst held to the side of the body. Print orientation: Side with small build-plate support for overhang. Name: BIPOD CONNECTORS (x2) Purpose: Enable folding of legs for storage and transportation. Print orientation: Tube hole to build plate. Name: FEET (x2) Purpose: Enable structural stability including grip with surfaces. TPU/TPC materials also suggested for grip. Print orientation: Nose-down. Name: UNCAPPER Purpose: Action the removal of bottle cap via striking the ideal position. Print orientation: Side with build-plate support for 45 degree overhang. No support also possible. Name: MOUNT Purpose: Secure secondary tubes and mount the UNCAPPER. Print orientation: Flat side to build plate with support for overhanging bar section. Name: BASE Purpose: Receive the uncapped beer bottle and enable placement of cushioning material. Print orientation: Flat side to build plate. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS TUBING 16mm Outer Diameter x 14mm Inner Diameter.
