The revamped cannon is built upon Dejavue's Graxitrax Compatible Gauss Cannon, incorporating 20mm x 5mm round neodymium magnets - significantly larger than standard ones. This upgraded model supposedly delivers a stronger blast, but my practical experience suggests it performs similarly to the original. By introducing a separate ring that can be securely attached to the main body, this revised design eliminates the need for printing supports altogether. A protective cover is cleverly designed to hold the magnet in place beneath the main structure. Moreover, this remix addresses an existing asymmetry issue present in the original design, resulting in a more balanced and refined overall construction.
