Gravitrax compatible 6-exit Basic Tile
thingiverse
I reworked the original design by Ferofox and added three more exits because they were essential for other components I am designing (you can see the first one, a star crossing, in the photos).\r\n\r\nAdditionally, I noticed that the curved marble entrances in the original model were 0.4mm too low, resulting in a slight "jump" when the ball came out of the basic tile and onto an adjacent tile. I adjusted them by making them 0.4mm higher to ensure smoother transitions.\r\n\r\n**Edit:** I uploaded a revised version with thicker tabs on the bottom because they were prone to breaking easily, and added three hexagonal holes for use with my Gravitrax Compatible Elevation System.\r\n\r\n**Edit 2:** The current version is final, with only minor changes, including fillets on outer edges and larger hexagonal holes.\r\n\r\nIf you want to explore possible uses of this basic tile with six exits, check out my:\r\nGravitrax compatible star crossing\r\nGravitrax Compatible "Temple of Chaos" - Randomizer\r\nGravitrax Compatible Elevation System\r\nGravitrax Compatible Cannon\r\nGravitrax Compatible Cable-Car (as a base for pillars)\r\n\r\nIt will also work seamlessly with stock basic tiles:\r\nGravitrax compatible Jump module\r\nGravitrax compatible wave slide\r\nGravitrax compatible spiral staircase\r\n\r\n*If you create this, it would be awesome to see pictures of your makes!*\r\n\r\n**Note:** I am not affiliated with Ravensburger or Gravitrax; this design is a personal creation that offers functionality beyond the stock parts.\r\n\r\nI do this for fun, but if my projects enhance your Gravitrax experience, consider showing appreciation by tipping me - it would be greatly appreciated!
