gravitational hook with snap fasteners
thingiverse
My son recently asked me to create a crane for him to enjoy, so I began looking for a hook and discovered Snorri's gravitational hook. I immediately printed it at 200% as an awesome toy but struggled to find any M5 machine screws (thanks to the Covid Lockdown!). I then modified TZT's fastener design to suit my needs. Hey presto - a quick and easy-to-assemble and entirely 3D-printed gravitational hook was born. I chose to use only two hooks instead of three, simply due to personal preference. The fasteners are designed to be loose, allowing the mechanism to move freely. You will need to acquire the following components from Snorri: GH_bar - a total of three printed at 200% GH_Hook - a total of three printed at 200% GH_attach - one printed at 200% Additionally, you will require: M5_clipnut - four M5 x 9 - two M5x13 - one M5x22 - one
