Gravel, Sand, and Charcoal Water Filter
grabcad
This 3D-printed water filter uses gravel, sand, and charcoal for purification; boiling post filtration is recommended. The materials are naturally sourced and housed in separate cartridges for easy replacement and casing cleanliness. A paper towel or filter is placed at the bottom of each cartridge, while Velcro straps secure them within the case. Bottle-mounted filtration simplifies the process, requiring a cut soda bottle atop to hold dirty water and another below for collection. The small top hole prevents flooding. Inspired by The King of Random's YouTube project, this design demonstrates an efficient way to purify water from sources like fish ponds. Please share your feedback on my project.
