This relief was unearthed in Athens near the Acharnian Gate. It depicts a woman seated on a chair, gazing towards another woman, possibly an attendant standing beside her. Both women grasp chests overflowing with jewelry. The woman on the left, identified as deceased, also holds a mourning band firmly in her right hand. The robust build of their bodies suggests a stylistic connection to a Peloponnesian workshop, possibly from Argos.
