Grave Stele Made of Boeotian Marble Uncovered at Thespiai in Boeotia. A grave stele crafted from Boeotian marble was unearthed at the ancient site of Thespiai, located in the region of Boeotia. The stele features a depiction of a seated woman wearing a traditional chiton and himation that also covers her head. In her right hand, she grasps a bird, which is being offered to the figure of a child situated directly in front of her. The figure of the child was mysteriously battered and removed when the stele was repurposed at some point in time. As a result, an inscription was carved onto the cornice of the pediment during this process. This artifact is part of the "Scan The World" initiative, a non-profit project introduced by MyMiniFactory. This endeavor aims to create a comprehensive digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from all over the globe for public access at no cost.
