Grave stele
myminifactory
Discovered in Attica, this stele takes the shape of a naiskos with pilasters, an epistyle, and a cornice. A woman resembling the Large Herculaneum Woman is depicted alongside a man wearing a himation who grasps a scroll, likely an educated individual (literatus). The names of both deceased are etched onto the cornice. This stele dates back to the time of Emperor Gallienus.
