Grave stele
myminifactory
Discovered on Rheneia Island. In a sunken groove on the base of the pedimental stone slab, beneath a decorative ribbon motif, stands a woman facing directly with her arms positioned in front of her chest. She is clad in a chiton and a himation that also covers her face turned to the right, where a young handmaiden grasps a jewelry box and a fan. Inscribed above the relief is the name of the deceased: Lampron of Stymphalos, wife of Sarapion.
