Human: Life-sized relief carved from gleaming Pentelic marble discovered at Eleusis. The artwork was originally part of a freestanding funerary shrine called a naiskos, with pilasters and pediment constructed separately from other pieces of marble. It shows a muscular warrior wearing a knee-length chiton, leather corselet, and draped cloak, standing proudly upright. His youthful servant holds his helmet in outstretched hands. A shield lies on the ground beside him. The image is clearly inspired by a three-dimensional statue of a warrior that was carved from a single block of marble. This object belongs to "Scan The World". Scan the World is a non-profit project created by MyMiniFactory, which aims to build a vast digital collection of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from all over the globe for everyone to access for free.
