Grave relief for Euxenides
sketchfab
Ancient solace for Euxenides, Athens' streets, 330 B.C., hewn from marble, now proudly displayed at Nye Carlsberg Glyptotek (Copenhagen, Denmark), crafted with precision using Memento Beta. The true significance of this tender handshake, dexiosis, on Attic grave reliefs remains open to interpretation - a family's farewell, yet also an enduring bond with the departed. Despite its impressive stature, the top and rear of the relief suffered from poor scans due to its tall dimensions and proximity to the wall, approximately 10 cm away.
