Grave relief
myminifactory
A stunning grave relief crafted from Pentelic marble has been unearthed in the Goudi district of Athens. The sculpture depicts a seated woman facing directly to the right as she grasps both hands of another woman standing before her. Between them stands a mature man and a young maidservant positioned on the left side. The figures are carved at an angle, turned three quarters towards the background of the relief. This unique perspective allowed the skilled artist to work the seated woman's head in a full 360-degree circle, imbuing her with divine beauty and a radiant aura. This exceptional object is part of the "Scan The World" initiative, a non-profit project launched by MyMiniFactory. Through this effort, we are creating a comprehensive digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe, available for public access at no cost. Scan The World is an open-source community endeavor, welcoming contributions from individuals with interesting items they'd like to share.
