Grave or Votive Relief with an Enthroned Man
myminifactory
The marble sculpture allegedly originates from Paros, a Greek island, dating back to around 550 BC. A beardless man sits on a throne with lion's feet, resting on an armrest and footstool at an angle. The context of the discovery is unknown, making it unclear whether the figure represents someone deceased, a god, a hero, or a donor. This sculpture is currently loaned to the Max-Klinger-Haus in Naumburg/Saale. This object is part of Scan The World, a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory, which aims to create a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for public access. All items are free to download, and Scan The World relies on community contributions.
