I use Blender to create a detailed 3D grass model by first selecting a plane where my grass will grow. Then, I select all faces on that plane and add a displacement modifier with the texture of grass in it, adjusting settings as needed so my grass looks thick. After that, I merge everything into a mesh using the "Limit Method" and extrude to shape my blade-like leaves around their bases with ease. Finally, to make realistic shading on individual blades where sunlight falls heavily during day times without casting any shadows when lit under nighttime skies full of stars, I apply material node group 'BGR Displace.'
