Graphics Card Stand Saiyan Power Up
thingiverse
I needed a new graphics card stand when I got a new card. I was using a Goku figurine to hold up the old one, but he wouldn't fit with the new one and I still wanted to use him. So I came up with this solution that worked perfectly for me. I tried printing it in white, but it did too good of a job blocking the leds. I found clear to be a very good diffuser. Lights Inward Track Style- The lights point inward, making it necessary to feed them through. However, I do not recommend this version due to its design flaws. Lights Outward Track Style - This version has the lights pointing outward, resulting in a cleaner and more precise print. If you have a really well-tuned printer, this is the cleanest version available. Warning: Globs, stringing, etc from a less than optimal print may severely hamper your ability to print this model. Stand V3 Cut Bottom V2 - I cut the part in two to make the print easier and ensure that the lights could be put in place correctly. It has one tip cut off to create a platform for the card to rest on securely. Stand V3 Cut Top - This is the other half of the modified stand design. Stand V4 Cut Bottom - Same as V3, but with a larger cut out for the card to fit perfectly inside. Stand V4 Cut Top - The final piece of the upgraded stand design
