This is a job for an improved replica of the RepRap Discount Graphical LCD. To create a reliable simulation, I dedicated several hours to studying lulzbot's AO-101 from their FTP site and recreating a detailed 3D model in SketchUp, encompassing every aspect of the AO-101. That exact same model is now available for download. What you get here are only the STL files for the Graphical LCD Case. Feel free to give it a try! I made some slight modifications after printing, mostly to the base portion, adding slots for easy brightness control and unhindered access to the illuminated header on the back.
