My entry for the Education challenge is a cutting-edge model of graphene featuring the word "Graphene" prominently displayed at the bottom on a sleek, round disk. How I Designed This Model I leveraged Tinkercad's user-friendly interface to bring this design to life. Additionally, I drew inspiration from stunning images of graphene's intricate molecular structure. Custom Section: Project Graphene Model Objectives: * Students will gain a deeper understanding of what a molecule of graphene looks like. * They will also develop a stronger grasp of chemistry fundamentals. Audience: * This project is tailored for students in grades 6-12. Preparation: * A basic working knowledge of chemistry is required to tackle this challenge. Steps: 1. Download the provided file and get ready to bring it to life! 2. Use a 3D printer to transform the digital model into a tangible representation. 3. Delve deeply into the structure of graphene, analyzing its unique properties and characteristics. Results: By following these steps, students will not only have created a model of graphene but also gained a profound understanding of chemistry through intense study and hands-on exploration.
