EA 50 \nAdditional ID: BS.50 (Birch Slip Number)\nSekhmet stands tall as a granodiorite statue, her legs and sun-disc missing, but holding steady with a papyrus-sceptre in one hand and an ankh-sign in the other. The sceptre's top is decorated with intricate incised details. The statue is incomplete, with legs and sun-disc lost. At its tallest, it measures 123.00 cm. It stands 38.00 cm wide and 39.00 cm deep. Sekhmet belongs to the 18th Dynasty. Excavated in Africa, Egypt, Upper Egypt, at Thebes, this ancient relic has a rich history. In PM II (2), page 265, the curator shares valuable insights. This statue has been showcased in numerous exhibitions and displays since its discovery. It was first displayed from March 21 to October 31, 2004, at the Gustav Luebcke Museum in Hamm. Then it traveled to Hamburg's Helms Museum for a showcase from December 10, 2004, to April 17, 2005. Lastly, it was exhibited in Mannheim's Reiss Museum from May 21 to September 11, 2005, as part of the War and Peace in Ancient Egypt exhibition series.
