Vibrant red granite statue of the powerful falcon-headed deity Horus, dating back to the Ptolemaic Period between 332 and 30 B.C., originated from ancient Egypt. Currently housed within the esteemed collections of the San Antonio Art Museum, bearing accession number 91.80.121. Crafted from a meticulous blend of 38 expertly captured photographs taken with the Canon EOS Rebel T3i camera model using Metashape 1.5.1 software, these images were carefully assembled to recreate this magnificent relic in stunning detail. The photography sessions took place during September 2016.
